Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 19, 2025

ClearMark Advisory respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. What We Collect

We may collect the following information when you use our site or services:

  • Contact details such as name and email address (e.g., when you subscribe on the Knowledge page or complete a quiz handoff).
  • Transaction details (when applicable), such as billing information for purchases.
  • Site activity such as pages visited, forms submitted, and general device/browser information.

Client Materials (Sensitive Information)

During advisory work, you may share credit reports or financial documentation. We use this information solely to provide services you request. Materials are stored securely in encrypted cloud storage and are accessible only to authorized personnel. We do not sell or share this information. Materials are deleted when no longer needed to fulfill the engagement or at your request.

2. Use of Modern Technology Tools

AI-Assisted Advisory Support

As part of our commitment to delivering cutting-edge credit strategy, we may consult AI-powered tools (such as Claude by Anthropic or similar platforms) to analyze patterns, research strategies, and validate approaches when reviewing your materials.

Important safeguards:

  • We make reasonable efforts to anonymize and redact personally identifiable information before any AI consultation
  • We employ industry-standard redaction tools and manual review processes
  • AI tools serve as research assistants to our human expertise, not replacements
  • All final recommendations and strategy decisions are made by our human advisors
  • We do not upload complete, unredacted credit reports to AI platforms

While we take data protection seriously and employ reasonable safeguards, perfect redaction cannot be guaranteed due to the inherent variability of document formats and human review processes. This approach allows us to leverage the latest analytical capabilities while maintaining strict privacy protections and human oversight of all advisory work.

3. Use of Pixels and Tracking Technologies

We may use tools such as Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel, and LinkedIn Insight Tag to understand site usage and improve our content and advertising. These tools may collect de-identified information like device type, pages visited, and actions taken (e.g., form submissions).

You can manage preferences via your browser settings or opt out of interest-based ads via the Digital Advertising Alliance. Our email signup on the Knowledge page posts data securely to our server and does not rely on third-party embed scripts.

4. How We Use Information

  • To deliver requested downloads and educational emails (e.g., the Knowledge Guide) and, if you consent, occasional service updates.
  • To provide and improve our services and website.
  • To respond to inquiries and customer support requests.
  • To prevent spam and abuse and maintain site security.

6. Cookies

We may use cookies or similar technologies to improve your experience and analyze site performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may impact site functionality.

7. Data Security

Form submissions are transmitted over HTTPS. For email signups, we use a server-side proxy to securely forward your information to our email provider, and we avoid storing more than necessary on our servers. We implement safeguards consistent with industry best practices and limit access to authorized personnel. We do not sell your personal information.

8. Your Choices & Rights

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in our messages. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at info@clearmarkadvisory.com.

9. Data Retention

We retain email subscription data while your subscription is active and remove or anonymize inactive records after approximately 24 months, or earlier upon request. Client materials shared for advisory work are retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the engagement or as required by law.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

11. International Visitors

We operate in the United States and do not target EU/UK residents. If you visit from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the United States.
